I TALKED, TAGGED & JIGGED WITH ROCKHOPPER!

So I was wrong about Rockhopper. He isn't a robot. Some real person plays Rockhopper. Well, whoever he is, I got to do some cool things with him waaay past my bedtime (June 30, 7am cptz ;-))

TALK

I was on my usual shopping routine at The Store aboard the Migrator. I was finishing up my purchase of 24 Flamingos and 3pieces Ship in a Bottle (should I buy more? ;-) im more comfortable with 40 hehehe!) when Rockhopper suddenly appeared! My heart skipped a beat as this was just my second time to meet him!

Anyway, I followed him to The Beach. Here's our "talk" while dancing.


Rockhopper: How be me plants, mateys?
Lady Maryann: They are beautiful! I bought many!
Rockhopper: How many?
Lady Maryann: I bought forty plants!
Rockhopper: Yarr-har-harr!

Lady Maryann: I BOUGHT FORTY RARE PLANTS (I repeated coz I wasn't sure if he read it hehehe!)

Then he said to do a Pirate Parade... Next stop, The Dock.

Rockhopper: Aye that be a secret

hmmmm so who was Rockhopper answering, me or Levex18? But since Levex18's was NOT really a question, I assumed that Rockhopper was answering MY question... ;-)

So there's something going to happen with the rare flower plants huh? It stopped growing about a month ago (it hit stage 5 on june5)... hmmm, i read this somewhere,

"a person starts dying upon birth (or something like that... ;-))"

so, will the rare flower plants start wilting?

nah, Club Penguin is a happy, non-violent environment... that's why you don't see blood anywhere, or penguin dying. So if there's going to be another stage for the rare flowers, I would say, it will still grow ;-)

RACE #4: YOU ARE ON A MISSION, INSPECTOR CRAZY!

Here are your missions. Investigate and solve each of the 3 missions. We are counting on you. Good luck Inspector Crazy!

MISSION 1:
The dried leaves made crackling sounds under your feet as you walked around the yard outside the Mumberson mansion. Finally, you came to an open door. Several police officers were standing there, talking to a young man who held an ice bag to his head.

“Inspector Crazy, I’m RSnail,” the young man said. “I was hired to guard the mansion while the family was away.”

“Tell me what happened,” you said.

“I stepped out into the yard for a moment,” said RSnail. “The burglar must have crept up on me and knocked me out. Then he took all the valuables in the house.”

“Arrest him, men! He’s lying!”

As Inspector Crazy, what was the reason/clue that made you suspect RSnail’s story?

MISSION 2:

The gold bars were all ready to be turned into trophies for the Olympics 2008 in Beijing, China. Now someone has stolen them!

By the time you (yes! you, Inspector Crazy) arrived, the police had only three suspects left. They were Watex, Mimo777, and WweAdam, all atheletes.

You knew these facts:

• Only a weight lifter could have gotten away with the heavy gold bars.
• Each of the 3 suspects was entered in 2 events
• The swimmer was not a marathon runner
• The high hurdler and the sprinter were friends
• The pole vaulter and the sprinter were enemies
• Both the pole vaulter and the weight lifter roomed at one time or another with the swimmer
• Watex was entered as a pole vaulter
• Mimo777 was entered as a high hurdler
• WweAdam was a swimmer

MISSION 3:

“I could have been killed, Inspector Crazy!” cried Sam Dancer. “I was closing the disco all by myself. Suddenly, this guy came in with a gun! He took my money and then he took a shot at me! Luckily, the bullet just scraped past my arm.” Sam showed you the bandaged flesh wound.

“This is where the robbery took place?” you asked.

“Yes. Nothing’s been touched. I’ve seen enough detective movies to know that you’d want to look for clues.”

You, Inspector Crazy, stood in the middle of the mirrored walls of the dance floor. Each smooth glass surface perfectly reflected the scene of the crime. Then you turned to Sam.

“You left one clue too many, Sam. Or, rather, you didn’t leave it. You’re lying.”

THE AMAZING RACE PLAYER & SCORE BOARD

As I said in the previous The Amazing Race (TAR) post, early registrants will have Bonus points. You may check out your Bonus points here or in the "TAR Player & Score Board" in the Right Yellow Sidebar.

Points that you will earn on each Race will be recorded here. You may check out your opponent's score too. I also put in the players' websites so you can research WHO you are up against.

RULES ON BEING A TAR PLAYER
There are some registrants that used the same IP address. To be FAIR to everyone, I am allowing only ONE player for ONE IP Address. I have identified those who used the same IP Address. So please please check out the bottom part TAR PLAYER & SCOREBOARD if you think you are one of them. I placed priority to those who are non-members on CP yet since more is at stake: CP MEMBERSHIP.

To those whose status are "DISQUALIFIED," you may still join in the fun and submit to the race but you CAN NOT win. Your score will still be tallied so you will know how you stand against everyone else ;-) So if you want challenge, join the race anyways. ;-)

To those whose status are "DECIDE," please comment below which one of you will play. Again, the player who is giving up the X-Trailer category for the other, can still play and submit to the race but CAN NOT win. We are on different time zones but I think that the best time to post a race is 6pm cptz on weekends and 11am cptz on weekdays.

FIRST RACE OF THE AMAZING RACE POSTPONED!

Hooyah!

The Amazing Race's FIRST RACE is supposed to have come out today about 2 hours ago. Unfortunately, we have no electricity since 2am because of heavy rains and some thunderstorms. News have it that we will have electricity back in 2-3 hours. That would be 10pm or later in the USA and in other areas. To be fair to the players in those areas, I decided to move the FIRST RACE to tomorrow, June 22, Sunday, 6pm cptz.

For now, I can not anymore post coz battery is running real low on this laptop. So I hope you come back again tomorrow for THE AMAZING RACE!

Hey guys. I have a couple of things to say. 1. I am making a special portrait for all the slumbook entries and will try to do one for every entry. Or most likely every 5 or 10 entries. 2. Since I can record videos, I was wondering, why not make a music video? So I wrote my own song and I want to see if you guys like it. Here it is:
When I found you
Once I thought I was just a little kid. Then I found you, hoping to see. Just as my feelings run away, you always seemed to catch them. Then when I saw the water, I saw you. You opened my eyes, and made me think. You have my dreams in your eyes, as I have yours in mine. My thoughts are up to you, as yours are up to me!

For once I hoped to dream, but I never saw you. You helped me see the person I am. I never thought this moment would happen. You see the real me! Oh! You’ve always seemed to notice me, but my eyes were always busy. I hope to see one day, how people really are!

When I found you, I noticed something. I felt a connection, as I looked in your eyes. You saw me sad and happy. When I found you, you saw me see for the first time ever. You were like a wizard, seeing how I feel inside. Oh! I hope to see you again soon!

When I was a little kid, I had to think a little harder. I never knew about you. But you knew about me. We saw each other every single day. But you never talked to me, just until I saw you.

When I found you, I was nervous. You probably noticed my legs shaking. But I noticed them too. I thought for the first time ever!

When you saw me I never saw you. But when we saw each other I was excited in my head. You were the first to notice, the real me!!!!!!!

FEATURED PENGUIN #10

It is not very often that I would find myself speechless. Sometimes, I think, I talk too much hehehe ;-) I think that even the most eloquent person, when faced with something totally awesome, would find himself lost for words.

It doesn't really take that much to impress me: I am impressed with the simplest, most ordinary of things... like kindness, love, friendship, warmth, loyalty, honesty....

Awww! I know, i'm getting to be a bit mushy! aaaahhhhhh ;-) I don't do this kind of things, I am a rebel, remember?... so just let me be for this post, ok? Just hang on ;-)

Anyway, I was doing my blogroll rounds (yes! I do visit ALL sites that are on my blogroll ;-)) and I happen to get to this awesome person's blog. Needless to say, I was impressed awed by his character. In our age range, when most of us rant about our parents being killjoys, or siblings being bullies, it's like a breathe of fresh air to find someone who is vocal about his love for his family.

And it doesn't stop there, he is comfortable with his own imperfection too. Now, that one totally killed me! ;-) His writing reveals that he has a wacky sense of humor too. ;-) Hah! I'm double dead! ;-) Those are exactly the things that i want ME to be. He got me hook, line and sinker at the first sentence of his profile; then I went through a slew of emotions: awe, admiration and laughter.

When I meet people like our 10th Featured Penguin, it forces me look into myself and think about all my rebellious shenanigans learn (hehehe ;-)) I think I'm a couple of years older than him, but it seems that I could learn a lot from him.

(Oh! Did I say I'm speechless? ;-))

Our 10th Featured Penguin is:

Goofy73 is everything I want to be when I outgrow my rebellious phase. So, give him a wave or a hug when you see him around! You sure won't be snobbed. He is friends with everybody. How can he not? Just when everybody (including me!) are trying to exude coolness in their signatures like "i rock your socks!" (that's mine! I am so ashamed! hahaha!), he signs himself as "your friend Goofy73." I wish I had thought of that ;-)

I will be leaving for Disneyland in a few hours so this might be my last post. I will be returning on the 17th.

RARE FLOWER STAGE 5: AS EXPECTED

Aw! Look at my beautiful Rare Flowers, all 40 of them! ;-) They grew AS EXPECTED but their beauty still amaze me!

Sometimes, greed pays! hahaha! Thanks to Nikereog for visiting my igloo ;-) My question has been answered: Rockhopper didn't arrive at the full-bloom of the rare flower! Oh well...... ;-)

SUMMER KICK-OFF PARTY + DISNEYLAND & MORE!

Here's a cool sneak peek at the Summer Kick Off Party!

If this image is to go by, the party is going to be a blast! Penguins who have been in CP for a year have been raving about THIS party last year! Knowing CP, this is even going to be more awesome! So head on over CP on June 13-18! How ironic that I am looking forward to kick off summer, when it's officially rainy season where I live! ;-)

Unfortunately, I will get to enjoy the Summer Kick-Off Party for 2 days only instead of 6 :-( That's because on June 14-17, I will be in Disneyland-Hongkong!!! Woohoo! :-) Here's a pic!

I am gonna have 2 awesome parties inside of ONE WEEK! Woohoo! I am soooo excited! ;-)

This week and next are busy busy weeks for me. As you know, I am doing this site alone and no one would keep this site updated for the days that I will be in HK. I am fast tracking all my posts and they will be published by Blogger even if I can't get online. Amazing Blogger! ;-)

As usual, expect to be greeted by our 10th FEATURED PENGUIN! This person is an awesome awesome inspiration to me whose identity is super secret at the moment ;-) This will be revealed on June 15! ;-) And a SPECIAL announcement will also be made until next week.

TechnoPengi is slated to be published today, IF everything goes well LOL;-) I have finished writing the FIRST TECH TUTORIAL, as well as the SECOND actually ;-) Right now, I am working on some widgets that seem to conflict with the NEW TECH THEME. Yup, it's totally different from everything you see here! Here's a sneak peek!
