The Amazing Race has now officially ended. It is with a sad note that we are officially closing the race. It was not merely a race. It was a journey. A journey because along the race tracks, we unexpectedly got to know some of you and gained treasured friends and acquaintances. We hope that we continue on to this journey of having fun and gaining friends. We hope it will be fun for you as we are sure it will be for us ;-)

We are happy to announce the WINNERS! Woohoo! But before that, we would like to thank ALL 83 PLAYERS (34 Trailblazers & 49 X-Trailers) and ALL those who, though did not join, but watched the progress of The Amazing Race. Your continuous support via comments and emails warmed our flippers ;-)

We would like to commend ALL of you. You displayed amazing maturity way beyond your years! One of our fears was when the race starts, someone might post the answers either in comments or in the shoutbox! We have seen so many CP Blogs to warrant such fear. BUT, up to this very day, we are still amazed that none of you, players and non-players alike, broke the Rules of the Race. Everyone went by it. By that we have proven that maturity need not come with age. At young ages (8-14 years), you have shown an unexpected degree of maturity. Though you did not win the contest, you have won OUR RESPECT and the RESPECT OF OTHERS! You should be mighty proud of yourselves! Let us all give ourselves a round of applause! Clap! Clap! Clap! ;-)

THE AMAZING RACE FINALE: RACE #7 (OPEN RACE & PITSTOP)

It has been a long time since I posted last. School now takes most of my time than last year's. Aaaarrrrgggghhhh! I hate my teachers for giving us toooooons and tooooons of homework! ;-)

Anyho, we are now on the Final Race of The Amazing Race. We are eliminating the bottom 10 contenders (5 contenders on each category, X-Trailer & Trailblazer). Only the Top 10 Contenders will play the last race, Race #7!

But even if you get higher tarps, you can not win. So, you may just do this for fun or to know how you would fare in the race had you qualified to play it. BE DARING! SOLVE THE RACE! ;-)

THIS IS RACE #7.1 (OPEN RACE)
Use Submit Tar#7.1 Button

SCORING:

• Shadow Scoring. That means, Tarps will be posted ONLY when ALL Players have submitted their answers OR when the DEADLINE is up, whichever comes first. So, please think hard which will give you higher tarps: submitting within 48 hours or submitting when you think you have got most of the answers correct. DEADLINE for submitting your answers is on July 28, Monday, 12AM CPTZ.
• Each Correct Answer will get 50 tarps
• Bonus Tarps may be given on some Questions; it will be indicated in the Question
  
• Player who submits his answers within 48 hours, gets extra 10 tarps, regardless if he got everything right or not
• Player who submits his answers within 48 hours gets another extra 20 tarps if he got everything right
• Player who submits beyond 48 hours but got everything right gets extra 15 tarps
• Rules in the First Leg will apply to the Finale

Question #3: Your last Mission, Inspector Crazy!
Rockhopper was out on his beach enjoying a nice, summer afternoon. Suddenly there was a shadow behind him. He turned to see who it was.

"Hey, could you…" Then he saw no more.

Inspector Crazy thought as he drove to his newest crime scene, "It's too nice of a day to be working." When he arrived at the scene, he saw the victim, Rockhopper, lying dead with a huge hole in his chest. No sooner had he seen the victim than the murdered man's neighbor, Cena12121, came running. Inspector Crazy was about to ask him who he was when Rockhopper's other neighbor, Mike92, showed up.

Inspector Crazy asked them, "Who're you guys?" He'd just finished when a man in a boat pulled up. Inspector Crazy grumbled to himself, "This is getting ridiculous!"

After all three men introduced themselves, Inspector Crazy asked them what they were doing there.

Mike92 replied, "I saw your car and Cena12121 over here, so I decided to come and check it out."

Cena12121 explained, "I was out on my beach when I saw you walk down here, so I also decided to see what was going on."

The man from the boat, Straw000, said, "I was driving my boat when I heard a gunshot, so I came to investigate."

Addressing them all, Inspector Crazy said, "You'd better wait here while I investigate the crime scene."

As he combed the entire beach, he found nothing, at least until . . .

"Augh! What's that shining in my eyes?"

He looked up and saw a single, focused point of light. He walked over to see what it was. "Ah," he thought slyly to himself, "this is making things very interesting."

He walked back to the group, pointed to one of them and announced, "You, come with me. You're under arrest for the murder of Rockhopper."

Who killed Rockhopper?

#0 PFFFFT!

CP deleted the OLD DIRECT LINK TO PLAY CP ON BIG SCREEN. But they made a new one! Woohoo! Here is the link:

#1 PENGUIN MAIL

Your Mailbox can hold only 99 Postcards. Beyond that, people won't be able to send you postcards. So clean up your mailbox once in a while so your friends can mail you and you can receive them ;-)

#2 NEW PLAYER CARD

Rumors has it that you can add up buddies MORE THAN 100! Wahoo!!!! But based on Speek to Me's experience, the number that exceeds 100 buddies will be deleted the next time you log in and it will be taken out from the bottom. So if you have 105 buddies, whoever are the LAST 5 buddies will be gone the next time you log in! Ayayay! Pfffft!

So until things are settled and glitches are fixed, I suggest you keep your buddies to just 99-100 ;-)

5 NEW FEATURES, A FREEBIE & A PFFFFT!!!

After more than a month of waiting, Penguin Mail is finally out! And with it is a FREEBIE!!!! Woohoo! It is sorta hidden ;-) Here's how to find it!

Click on the Envelope next to the Newspaper at the TOP LEFT CORNER of the screen and this will appear.

Look for the Postcard above and click on the button "GET ITEM" as pointed by the CPC HAND.

Now, click yes to pick it up! Woooot! ;-)

Check out the PIN & FREEBIES Widget on the left Green Sidebar. It has the Blue Mail Bag Item in there now ;-) If you have added this Widget on your website, it will also be updated automatically. You don't have to do anything ;-)

Let us go through all the features of Penguin Mail.

White Envelope will tell you how many postcards you have yet to open.
Click it to go to the PENGUIN MAIL DESKTOP.

This is the PENGUIN MAIL DEKSTOP (PMD)
It is LITERALLY a DESKTOP ;-)

CPC Hand #1 & #2 ~ Navigation Arrows: Use this to go through all the Postcards in your mailbox
CPC Hand #3 ~ Message Counter: This will tell you how many postcards are saved in your mailbox and which postcard you are currently viewing. Message 1 of 13 means you are on the FIRST postcard out of the 13 in your mailbox
CPC Hand #4 ~ Postcard Body: This will tell who sent you the postcard and what the message is

CPC Hand #5 ~ New Message: Send a Postcard to your buddy. Click it and your buddylist will come up. Click the buddy you want to send a postcard to

Then the Postcard Album will come up. Click the Postcard you want to send.

CPC Hand #6 ~ Reply: If you want to send a postcard to someone whose postcard you are currently viewing, just click it and the Postcard Album will come up. This works for those who are NOT in your buddy list too ;-)

CPC Hand #7 ~ Remove: If you want to DELETE ALL the postcards send by a PARTICULAR SENDER

CPC Hand #8 ~ Trash: if you want to DELETE just one PARTICULAR POSTCARD

You can send postcards to buddies who are not online. They will get to read it once they log on. It's a great way of letting them know that you remember them ;-) Earlier, I sent postcards to all my buddies.

BUT there is ONE buddy that stood out: BACON707. It is because when I tried to send him a postcard, this is what I got:

Oh boy oh boy! You gotta a looooot of thoughtful friends Bacon707! ;-) Well, you didn't get one from me coz your mailbox is full ;-) I don't know how many postcards we can save. If someone does, please do let me know so I can put it here too ;-)

The designs of my widgets are definitely funkier (if I can say so myself! LOL!) than most of the existing, older CP widgets out there! The colors are neutral so that it wont clash with any template colors, and yet not boring ;-) AND they are available in 3 sizes! So at least 1 widget size will fit your sidebars!

Since I am 8-15 hours ahead of most of you, these widgets will be updated way before you wake up! ;-) You only have to put the CODES on your site ONCE! The widgets on your site will update itself from then on! Cool huh?

NEW CP TIMES HOT OFF THE PRESS!
